Vogt AI is led by Derek Vogt, an Applied AI Engineer who brings a rare combination of finance, accounting, and software engineering expertise to every engagement.
Starting his career as a CPA at PwC and progressing through roles at WeWork and Spotify, Derek transitioned into software engineering before specializing in applied AI. Today, as an Applied AI Engineer at Shibumi, he builds production AI systems that drive real business outcomes.
This cross-disciplinary background means we don't just build AI — we understand the business context it operates in, the data it relies on, and the processes it needs to transform.
